Getting your hair cut? Are you stressed?

Did you ever go to the beauty shop and just sit there and let them cut your hair and not say anything then go home and cry or yell? This is what my son did when he was young! Boy was he mad! I used to cry! Why do we do this? We sit in offices and let others make desicions for us. We don't speak up. We need to start speaking up about healthcare which is anything from hair to serious illness. It reminded me because my daughter as old as she is (28) sat there and took it last evening at the beauty shop and came out upset. It wasn't what she wanted and even paid money for. Now they can fix it, sometimes you can fix things sometimes you can't, but now more time and energy are wasted just because she did not speak up...let alone anxiety which she doesn't need. Do any of us?

About me a nurse with a vision of the way it is supposed to be

I am a nurse, wanted to be one since I was 7 years old. My dad that raised me was a chemical engineer. Having the chemical background in my family (actually having a lab in our backyard!!!).

My background in nursing in 1975 was pretty much all about chemicals too. And I gave plenty of them out, of course, ... knowing no better ... but wondering? I now know better. If given the proper nutrition, etc ... the body can heal itself and as always an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

The past 16 years or so I've been very involved alternative health, having worked for 2 very excellent chiropractors. I now believe that the chemicals are to be used only as a temporary bridge to get the person well enough for them to get back to a healthier lifestyle ... not ever intended for long term use a quick fix so to speak.

In the late 1990's I worked for Dr. Martin Gallagher, a chiropractor who later became a medical doctor. When he was in high school he was given injections of steroids in his knees for sports injuries. When he found out that steroids literally eat the bone he decided to become a chiropractor and try to help people the best way he could.

I worked in his chelation i.v. therapy department which took out heavy metals, also helped people from cancer treatments and many other things. This is very time consuming and somewhat invasive and painful not to mention expensive but it DID work. I have just recently discovered a way to chelate using drops under the tongue. I have learned a lot in my journey as a nurse.

I am always trying to find something that really helps people, is affordable and fast. I have learned that:

  • The chemicals can be harsh any way and should be used in small calibrated doses if used.

  • Higher doses and extended periods of use can be devastating to the body and even cause death.

I have seen these effects in my own family. My dad died from a cancer drug for prostate cancer in 1982.

You can look on the news and see what's happening to our people young and old alike! I absolutely believe in what I am trying to do ... be the best nurse I can be and teach people how to really be WELL not just mask the SYMPTOMS or DELAY onset.
